SDMIMD opens applications for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Doctor of Philosophy(PhD) programs in April and August, respectively. Interested students must complete and submit the SDMIMD application form within the given deadline. The SDM Institute of Mysore application form fee for the PGDM program is INR 1,250, and for the PhD program, the application fee is INR 1000. When applying for admission, applicants must fulfil the eligibility requirements. Currently, the institute is accepting applications for the PhD programs, and the closing date for admission is 13 August 2025.

Aspiring students must fulfil the minimum educational qualifications to take admission in the Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Doctor of Philosophy at SDM Institute of Karnataka. The minimum eligibility to take admission in these courses is given below:
At least a Graduation degree with 50% marks from a UGC/AIU recognised university or institution, along with a valid score in the CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT exam, is required to take admission in the SDMIMD PGDM program. Final-year bachelor students can also apply for the PGDM admission.
For the PhD program, students must have a master’s degree in management from a recognised institute, and must qualify for NET/JRF or the University of Mysore entrance exam.
